Amy has been in dentistry for over 22 years. She began her career as a dental assistant in Hawaii and received a great sense of satisfaction giving patients a positive chairside experience. From the beginning steps as a dental assistant, she transitioned into the practice management area of dentistry. Amy eventually grew to become a manager of various specialty and general dental practices.
While attending the University of Tampa, she was very eager to become a dentist but decided to take a humanities class in sociology. It was then that she fell in love with this area of study and switched her degree to Applied Sociology with a concentration in qualitative and quantitative statistical analysis and research.
With her love of sociology and dentistry, Amy expanded her role in dental and accepted a position with a national company as a Technology Advisor for Colorado and Wyoming. This path eventually led her to realize the impact a coach can make within a practice; thus, became intrigued with this role.
As an coach, Amy values relationships! She capitalizes on the ability to connect with her clients and teams to attain goals of growing a culture filled with limitless possibilities while assisting with the implantation of strategies to reach the next desirable level of practice growth.
Being active is a core value to Amy; she enjoys snowboarding, traveling, live music and watching her son play college lacrosse.
She has worked in many areas of dental and is fortunate to combine her years of experiences in this role as a coach for The Dental Practice Management Agency.
