Chris Hammelev has enjoyed being a hygienist for over 32 years, but has also been a very successful treatment coordinator as well as office manager. She is a member of the ADHA, AOSH, and ALD. Chris has lead outstanding hygiene teams across the country for the last 19 years and has created custom periodontal programs for each of her offices. These programs give the patients the treatment they need, while greatly increasing profits for the office. She has shown her teams on co-diagnosis and communication skills resulting in extraordinary productivity in the doctor’s schedule.

Her vast experience within private practice allows her to manage teams and demonstrate to them how to establish  and maintain patient relationships, improve staff communication and accountability, utilize systems and protocols, create and achieve goals, and ultimately attain the practice vision.

Marissa has been in dentistry for over 20 years.

Utilizing her clinical knowledge and leadership skills, she earned a position as a regional trainer and eventually a regional manager for a large dental service organization. This eventually led her to being a dental consultant for general and specialty practices all over the country.

As a Certified Strategic Intervention Life Coach, Marissa values the needs of her clients first. She is able to connect with the entire team utilizing her knowledge of the clinical and administrative areas of an office to implement strategies that will create an environment ideal for growth. She truly prides herself on helping her clients develop a goal that will be sustainable and rewarding.

She has worked with many dentists, specialists, and teams both corporate and private over the years. Having led teams in corporate and private practice, Marissa found that her clients truly needed help managing their practices; which led to the creation of The Dental Practice Management Agency. She feels truly blessed to find her passion for managing, and mentoring in a field that she loves.

She is an integral part of The Dental Practice Management Agency's "Hygiene Dream Team." An offshoot of our company that specializes in creating dental hygiene departments that are cohesive and focused on patient care.   Nichole is  a native to Colorado. She loves hiking, snowboarding, camping,  and enjoying any adventures outdoors with her boyfriend and fur baby.

Alexa has been in the dental field for 12 years. She comes from a DSO background. Working in operations with DSO’s and private practices, she realized that systems can be married with great relationships and build unshakable dental businesses. Alexa has always had a passion for training. Post DSO world, she was a practice coach helping motivate and empower teams to create successful practices. She became a certified Dentrix Trainer in 2021 and is thrilled for the opportunity to join The Dental Practice Management Agency training Guru team! In her free time, she enjoys hip hop dancing, shopping, and the Colorado outdoors with my best friend, her 7-year-old son.

Alishia is originally from Richmond, Virginia but moved to Denver just before she finished high school. Alisha has been in the dental field for over 20 years. Her love and passion for patient education, care and attention to detail, help her train teams all over the country. Alishia has worked in dentistry both as a dental assistant and an insurance coordinator, and her ability to adapt to any situation makes her a fantastic asset to our clients. When not taking care of others at work, Alishia enjoys traveling, spending time with her two children, and watching them excel in school and sports.

Josalyn, is an EDDA with over 25 years’ experience in Dental Assisting. She is a Clinical Manager of a large private practice which made her the perfect choice for Director of Dental Assisting for The Dental Practice Management Agency. She is passionate in providing excellent dentistry utilizing her skills, knowledge, and common-sense approach to lead a team of 14 Clinicians and 6 Treatment Coordinators. When she is not in the trenches of clinical dentistry, Josalyn can be found coaching dental assistants how to be their best at their skills, creating systems and organization for success.

Her skills and ability to learn have allowed her to assist in many specialties alongside outstanding dentists/mentors. The Specialties include Endodontics, Cosmetic Dentistry, Pankey Institute, Spear, Oral Surgery, Prosthodontics, Dental Implants and General Restorative. She prides herself on the fact that she continues to learn every day to provide the best dentistry and help grow my team members.

Josalyn enjoys “Glamping”, hosting family and friends for cook-outs and vacationing in Mexico. She is a wife, mom of 2 adult children and 2 dogs Willie and Waylon.

Whitney is a seasoned leader with over 6 years in the dental and orthodontic field. She's a master in the art of process enhancement and implementation of strategic growth systems. Whitney's journey led her to serve as the Director of Strategic Growth and Community Relations for one of Colorado's largest orthodontic practice groups and a leader working in both private-practice and DSO settings, providing her with an intimate understanding of the inner workings of successful practices.

Her career spans various facets of leadership from call center training, treatment coordination, to administration. Yet, her true calling is found in the world of marketing. She possesses a remarkable ability to meet your practice exactly where it stands and guide you toward your growth objectives. Whitney excels in designing marketing plans and assembling teams to deliver a top-notch patient experience. Her knack for delivering measurable results and creating team cohesion empowers her to create a brand identity that's uniquely yours.
